POSITIONS

Looking to get involved in End Times beyond attending as a Player?

We are currently looking for help in the following volunteer positions.  A description of each position currently open, along with application requirements, responsibilities and in-game compensation are detailed below.

Any assistance that our community members can give to help us put on an amazing event for everyone is rewarded with Old-World Coin (OC), which is a great way to quickly advance your character(s), and can be spent at any EAO game (End Times, Fantasy Alive and Dormancy).

If you would like to volunteer for any of these positions, please contact an owner at owner@endtimeslarp.ca with a list of which position(s) you’d like to apply for any a brief description of your credentials/experience in the area (see below).

A huge pre-emptive thank you to all who apply. We put a vast amount of effort into our LARPS, but ultimately we can’t make them half of what they are without the support and commitment of our fabulous volunteers!

Plot Marshal:

Responsibilities:

While they hold the position, Plot Marshals attend events as a Cast role (cannot play a Player Character). At events, they work under the Head of Plot to help organize Cast and Dedicated Cast, preparing them for both planned and unplanned encounters, and red-lightning those mods when needed.  They may play several recurring townsfolk roles with more detailed backstories and abilities over the course of the events.  For the 2024 season specifically, there is very little required of Plot Marshals between events. For these events, they are not required to write plot or stat NPCs/monsters (though they are free to contribute in these ways if they wish to do so).  They may have to be available for a short online meeting prior to each event just to go over what is happening with plot at the event with an Owner.

Application Requirements:

Ideally available for the whole weekend of all 2024 events. Should have a general understanding of the core rules (not every last skill and spell) and a reasonable familiarity with the setting. Experience as a member of a LARP plot team is preferred.

Compensation:

250 OC for each full event attended. Half-price meal plan at events attended in position. Special bonus to an End Times character after successful completion of a season.
